How do you grow your nails super long really fast?

I can't grow my nails very long and whenever I apply nail polish or pay a little attention to them like tapping my nails on my desk during classes and figiting with them I get the urge to bite them. I want to grow them really fast and my friend said that letting them grow out really long will stop the temptation to bite them! Is this true?How do you grow your nails super long really fast?
Yes it is true. A am a faithful nail biter lol. once in a while Ill get my nails done to get a head start... then after that just maintain them . If you dont want to do that . Get some Sally Hansen nail products . Theymake it to help them grow and to strengthen them once they begin to get long.. .Buy a nail file and keep it with you all the time. If ya get a snag File it ... thats what always gets me .. Ill grow them out ... snag one and have no choice but to bite it off... then after one goes you thinkin hell with it the im gonna bite them all! dont! ..I promise you the polish will help a lot. i dont know if making them longer will make you not bite them. If your trying to stop biting them try putting something that tastes bad under your nails, i bet u'll stop then!! to grow them by plain gelatin ackets from the grocery store and mix them with water and drink up, also keeping them painted helps!!
i have the exact same problem! except for i tried all these things and i just get used to the bad taste . i try and paint them in a really pretty color and like whenever you at your computer or something have a bottle of nail polish right next to it. you'll eventually love the smoothness and now want to bite them. and if you are tempted instead of biting the nail itself bite off the polish i know its gross but trust me it works.
An easy way is to paint or nails lightly with chilli oil stop you nibbling and helps them grow.
umm there is this nail polish you can paint on your nails that is clear but if you bite your nails it taste terible and it sort of stings which makes you not want to bite them ! and it helped me alot you can get it at walgreens!
