How do I get deep set nails out of wood?

I have an old wooden table that I love, but I am moving and I need to dismantle it. the only problem is that the nails are set deep in the wood and the hammer claw can't reach them. Any ideas?How do I get deep set nails out of wood?
Since it's nailed and not screwed, just pry the pieces apart. once you have it seperated, you can pound the point of the nail until the head is sticking out enough to remove with your hammer.How do I get deep set nails out of wood?
