Roof, inside my attic the nails come through the roof boards. The nails have condensation on them?

What can I do? Or what should have been done?Roof, inside my attic the nails come through the roof boards. The nails have condensation on them?
The heat from inside the living space of the home is escaping from lack of insulation, and causing the cold iron nails to get condensation on them. Have some more insulation blown in, and that should solve the problem, in addition to saving you some on your heating bills.

Good Luck. ;-)Roof, inside my attic the nails come through the roof boards. The nails have condensation on them?
Nothing, this is common and not a problem.
Ensure there is adequate attic ventilation using any combination of gable/soffit/ridge vents.

Causes?

Prolly a combination of

inadequate ventilation (even in the winter, ventilation is required),

a faulty/nonexistent vapor barrier to the conditioned living spaces and

insufficient insulation.
common but check if you have some ventilation problems (open window fan
Is there a vapour barrier between the attic insulation and the ceiling below?

If there is not there should be.

Is the attic, above the insulation well vented to the outside? Again, if not it should be.

If you answer no to either of these questions that may be the reason for the condensation.

The attic air is warmer than outside air and the nails conduct the cold from the outside causing the moisture in the air to condensate on them.
The nails sticking through the roof sheathing is normal. The condensation is caused by warm air leaking through the insulation between the top floor and the attic. You need much more ventilation in the attic. Make sure your gable vents are clear is the first step. Make sure air is circulating freely through the attic. You want the attic air temperature as close to the outside air temperature as possible. To stop the inside air from escaping to your attic, increase your insulation to a minimum 24'; depending on where you live. That will all so stop the ice sickles from forming on the outside of your house.
Blow in some more insulation, and check the ventilation
