How long does it take for your nails to grow?

Because I have a bad habit of biting them, and i'm sick of paying for acrylics. =| Also, how can i get rid of this habit? I'm 16 now and i've been biting since i was 5.How long does it take for your nails to grow?
its the blood flow of the nutrients to nail that make them grow faster. if you are right handed your nails will tend to grow faster b/c you use your right hand alot more then your left. and also in warmer weather they grow faster compared to the cold as when its cold outside your blood tends to pool in your core to keep your organs warm and functioning. and nailtek is a great nail strenghthener( most peoples nails are damaged from the use of artificial nails as they have to strip layers of your nail bed in order for them to stay on) that will help as well as a cuticle oil by solar oil.How long does it take for your nails to grow?
It's a mental thing, something bad must have happened to you at 5. Try to figure out what happened and deal with it now that you are 16, realize you are strong and smart to handle things differently now. There is nail polish you can buy that leaves a bitter taste in your mouth to help. I suggest, when you feel nervous to try and handle your emotions different.

your nails will grow any time if you want to make your nails grow fast (with out buying anything!) just put water on your nails (it works with me)
