Nails?????

Ok so are acrylics and french tip nails the same thing? And will they harm the nail? And also acrylics or French tips are the ones with the colored tip right?Nails?????
acrylics are fake nails and french nails are a style of fingerpainting. both can be done at the same time. =] they don't really have a realtion to each other. you can do acrylics without a french tip and you can do french tips without acrylics.

yes, french tips are with the colored tip.

yes, acrylics sometimes damage nails since they're glued on.Nails?????
French tips refers to any type of manicure (whether polish, gel, acrylic etc) where the tips of the nails are white, and the base is pink. You can have variations on that, like having the tips be a colour, but those wouldn't be traditional French tips.

Acrylic nails are of course the overlay of the acrylic on your natural nail, sometimes extended with a glue-on tip. These have to be ';refilled'; every 2-3 weeks. They're strong, and rarely break if refilled regularly. If done properly, they shouldn't cause any permanent damage to the nails. Of course, the nail that is covered with the acrylic is thinner and more delicate when the acrylic is remove, but because our nails continuously grow, the new nail-growth will be normal and healthy.
french tips are the ones where the top of the nail is white.

acrylics and french tips arent the same thing.

you can get a french manicure put on your acrylics though.

and yes they extremely damage your nails.

my aunt just got hers taken off and any little thing her nail touches it breaks off.
