I already know how to give myself french tips. All you have to do is put some tape on your nail and paint the top, but i want more than that. I want to be able to put pretty designs on my nails without having to pay a high price.Does anybody know how to do designs on your nails without going to the nail salon?
why don't you try to do more with the tape besides a straight line for tips? I always liked tipping my fingers, then for my thumbs doing sort of a V coming down and put a rhine stone on the tip. Or paint your nails one color, then find some small stickers like stars or hearts and paint another color over them, then take the sticker off and it would leave the original color as the pattern. Or you could do stripes with tape, too.Does anybody know how to do designs on your nails without going to the nail salon?
i do mine ALL THE TIME only thing you need are those lil bottles of polish wit the tiny brush inside...
thats what the salon people use...
an i write names, put swirlies...
put stripes...
an other designs...
noboby can tell i did it myself.
ya just need a steady hand.
an decals are nice if on one or two fingers, an you do the others yourself!!!!

buy the tiny skinny bottles at almost anyplace polish is brought!!!
especially those chinese hair stores.
they carry them mostly.
not rite aid or a company store.

after you have painted your nails a solid color and let it dry, put a dab of nail polish on a paper plate then use a toothpick to draw a design on your nail. just dip the toothpick in the polish and get creative. you can do flowers, hearts, polka dots, and more! just be sure to wipe the toothpick clean before dipping it each time... good luck!
