How do you get finishing nails out of a board?

The nails are countersunk in the board on the top and bent on the bottom. The boards were against the wall. The nails bent when I pulled the boards off. Now I need to put the boards back on.How do you get finishing nails out of a board?
pull out from the side of the board that won't be seen when you rehang it. I'm gonna guess and say the bent side, when you reinstall your trim just go with the next size finish nail. How do you get finishing nails out of a board?
Pull the nails straight through from the back, pulling the head through. If you try to pull them out from the front (if that's even possible) it will take out splinters and chips from the front face.
a pair of pliers, better yet channel locks and pull them in the way they are going. This way you won't ruin or chip your board it just leaves a hole the size of the head.
Using a punch the size of the head of the finishing nails, tap them Through the board and out the back. fill holes with wood filler and reattach board with new nails.
straighten the nails on the back, hammer them back through the front (hammering on the pointy end), enough to get your hammer claw under them and remove them from the front , use new nails , put the board up, wood putty the holes and paint.

If they are small finishing nails, you may be able to pull them from the back , using a pair of side cutters, get a grip on the nail and pry up a little at a time until removed .

Last resort is to cut the bent ends off with side cutters, use new nails , just offset from originals, putty and paint.
snip the nail off with a god cut pliers
THE EASIEST WAY IS TO HAMMER THEM BACK A LITTLE THEN USE A PAIR OF CHANNEL LOCK S GRIP THE HEAD AND JUST ROLL THE NAIL OUT ......EASY AS PIE!
