dark nail polish worn for too long can make your nails look yellow. use a base coat and switch the shade of nail polish that you use every few weeks.

you can use lemon and bakig soda to scrub your nails to get them whiter.remove all nail polish and wash your hands really well dry them then buff your nails with the lemon and baking soda paste. What causes nails to turn yellow and how can I remove the yellow?
Any type of polish that has color with turn your nails yellow if you leave it on too long. go to the beauty supply and they should have some sort of clear nail polish that is specifically for getting the yellow out of nails. Good Luck!
Don't wear nail polish for a while and soak in lemon juice.

If it's a fungi or bad staining- they make a chemical you can buy at sally's to remove the discoloring.
they usually turn yellow because of red/orange/pink nail polish. try using a clear coat before you put your nail polish on. that usually works for me.
if you wear nail polish for too long, too often - most likely you will get nail fungus. wearing it too long doesnt let the natural nail breath. google nail fungus, maybe this is your problem since your nails are yellow.
u must smoke
