When painting fake nails prior to attaching them to the nail, what can you do/use to keep them still?

what you can do is glue them down to a flat surface like a piece of paper or cardboard.now when i say glue them down i mean just a tiny, tiny drop of glue on the sides,or tops and bottoms, but just enough to keep them down.you dont want to use too much because you could end up ruining the nail or not being able to flatly place the nail over your own nail because of a glue build up.just let the glue you used to hold it down dry before you take it of the paper so that way thea if you happen to use too much, you can just chip it off,but be gentle thoughWhen painting fake nails prior to attaching them to the nail, what can you do/use to keep them still?
it's actually better to glue them on first before painting. painting beforehand is messy (trust me, I've tried it) and smudges easily. When painting fake nails prior to attaching them to the nail, what can you do/use to keep them still?
Use double sided tape. That way they are stuck to the surface you are working on and can be easily removed when dry.
